Hi all, back again looking for another screen
ignore my old thread
ive been looking at S/H monitors, but prices are too close to new when looking at £150 - £200 monitors so I "may" go new..
anyway, using the TFT central "selector"
it came back with this :
YOUR SELECTIONS:
Price range: Below £200
Size of monitor: 25 - 27 inch
Widescreen Aspect Ratio = 169
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Ultra HD or 4K Resolution Required?: no
Panel technology preference: No preference
Colour Space preference: No preference
Primary use will be: Gaming
Secondary use will be: Office / Internet
Variable Refresh Rate Preference: Either
Functions specifically needed: Not bothered
RECOMMENDED MONITORS:
NOTHING
so, upped the price to the next bracket, and it came back with :
YOUR SELECTIONS:
Price range: Below £300
Size of monitor: 25 - 27 inch
Widescreen Aspect Ratio = 169
Aspect Ratio: 16:9
Ultra HD or 4K Resolution Required?: no
Panel technology preference: No preference
Colour Space preference: No preference
Primary use will be: Gaming
Secondary use will be: Office / Internet
Variable Refresh Rate Preference: Either
Functions specifically needed: Not bothered
RECOMMENDED MONITORS:
Acer Predator XF270H
27" 1ms G2G TN Film pane
144Hz refresh rate and W-LED backlighting
Extra smooth game play and excellent pixel responsiveness and high refresh rate
FreeSync support
Wide range of interface connections and ergonomic adjustments
TN Film based so limited in some regards such as viewing angles. Definitely a gaming orientated screen
Can be bought for just under £300
So im not sure what to choose, been looking at ASUS VS278Q (just missed out on a S/H one for £75)
do i get the acer or is there any cheaper alternatives ? (circa £200) ?
thanks
