First off let me explain what I am looking for:
- wife is a budding photo person and would like a good camera; although something that is not so bulky and more easier to handle (she has something now and with her lens is just too big; she says). So something more resonable to handle (carry etc).
- Id like to be able to take hi-def movies; not sure if I should go for 720p or 1080 but perhaps the 1080 stuff would be nice - we are going on a trip to hawaii soon and have a kid/dog in the works so would like to take movies of them etc ...
- price well depends - cheaper the better. She was showing me some cameras that could take movies and pics but they were around 600 pounds. I was hoping for cheaper like 3-400 ... We can also buy from the U.S. so if they dont make a certain model here then can buy there.
I dont know much about cameras etc but my wife does -
oh will a camera that does movies be just as good as a video recorder that does them? ... I know the camera may be a little more $
what would you suggest? ... thanks
