Hi there, just posting on the forums to ask for some help in choosing a new mobo as I don't really know what to look for myself, but from what I can see there are quite a few experts in here. My current system specs are below:

NZXT Lexa case
Intel Q6600 (2.4ghz)
Arctic Cooling Freezer7 Pro
2GB (2x1GB) 1150MHz OCZ Reaper Dual Channel DDR2
512mb 7900gt
250gb HD (no idea what brand)
500w PSU (again, no idea what brand)

I'm looking for an SLI board if possible as I'm considering upgrading to 2x 8800GT at some point in the future. I'm willing to spend anything up to around £120, though I could maybe go a little bit over if its really worth it. One thing I'm really interested in is how well the board handles overclocking. I'm planning on bumping up the speed of my CPU a fair bit, so I need a mobo that'll be able to handle it. I'm also looking to install a second hard drive (500gb).

Many thanks in advance, hopefully some of you have better luck finding a suitable motherboard than I've had xD

Just bumping my post as it's had 50 views but no responses yet. I was hoping to have built the computer this week (I've had the cpu and new ram since christmas) but I don't want to rush into it and buy a motherboard only to find its not compatible / a piece of junk.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: I think I'll have to cut the budget down to around £100 for the mobo, though as I said before, I'm willing to go a bit over if it means I'll get better performance.

Thanks once again, in advance.

Cheers for the reply zero-one. I'll note this one down and see if I can dig up some reviews about it. If the general opinion of the board is alright I'll see about ordering one tonight.

Thanks again :)
