Reet, round Zefan's house trying to transplant all his rig ad w/c into his new case. Now we've got everything ready except the watercooling loop, we've ran 5 litres of distilled through it, along with new tubing but we'd really like to give it a good nuking with something beefy to get rid of any crap in the loop!!

ANY suggestions, google has not been our friend so far and has given mixed results on things like anti freeze and citric acid.........

so yeah wtf can we use lol

kthx

It needed nuking because the pipes were opaque with tissue which soaked up into the res water through the leak in the barbs. Got it all out now, and into new 3D aurora which is crackin'. Used many litres of de-ionised with white spirit. Seemed to work a treat, just make sure you get it all out.

I use a very dilute caustic soda & de ionised water mix to flush out my loop. Mix 1L of water with a teaspoon of caustic soda crystals and run that rounds the system for about 30 mins, flushes all deposits from blocks and tubes very nicely. Then i normally give the system a quick flush with neat di ionised water before refilling with the water / algae inhibitor mix.
