So iv been out of the hardware game for years now. Iv looked around but pretty lost to be honest. I know i7 processors seem to be the way to go, along with a new NVIDEA graphics cards but thats about it.
Seems on all the hardware forums around you get spam and sales talk, and no real answer to your questions. So I decided to come back to my routes (OVERCLOCKERS).... Has been over 7 years since I ordered from here.
I'm going to make this pretty simple. I hope somebody can help.
I have £1000 GBP ($1600 USD) around to spend. I only need a system. No need for monitors ect.
I want dual monitors (already have those).
I want to be able to run EVE-ONLINE.COM (high spec ish game) on one monitor and do work on another. I want a new NVIDEA card that will have no problem running eve including Incarna (latest EVE-ONLINE future UPDATE), and be good for the next year / 18 months at least for this. I would also need the system to run eve and (on the other monitor) at least run photoshop and web surfing/ email / IMs with no problems at all.
Yes, i want to build this system myself. I have, and never will buy a commercial system from somebody like Dell, ect.
Could anyone give me some guidance?
