Hi, I'm ready to start building my new pc, it'll be mainly used for gaming and writing the odd DVD. Just looking for some advice on what to get, I have £600-650 to spend on a pc not including a monitor. Any help will be appreciated.

Thats what i would go for, just add a CPU cooler in there.

I notice you've picked a cheaper processor but a better motherboard, which combination would i get the best performance from? Also the graphics cards are roughly the same price, is the x1900 gt worse than the x1800xt? Thanks for the feedback so far. Also I forgot to say I won't be overclocking this so don't worry about that (I know I probably don't need the antec case for it's cooling or whatever but I like the looks lol)

Finally decided on and ordered:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA_965P_DS4 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 -£104.99

should all work well together and be a good pc?

Is the budget £800 now? If so for an extra £10 you can get a 200 GB 7200.10 :D

You might wanna ask about the case in the case forum too.
