Ok scenario is, Microsoft Windows Xp Clients, with Microsoft Office 2k3 installed, just changed company to local profiles using xp client and 2k3 server, problem is roaming profiles and printers, default printer is set to Microsoft Office Document Image Writer.
Reasoning behind this is because print preview in applications such as microsoft excel dont work unless there is a printer added, with printers scattered all over remote locations i cant have any one printer set as default.
Is there a way to enable print preview on applications such as Microsoft Excel without having a printer installed or is it possible to add a dummy printer and remove permissions from users for printing so that they cannot put something into the print queue on the print server for the associated printer?
