Ok so,

not long ago I ordered a leather jacket from the website www.soulrevolver.com

It arrived but it was too small in the arms and so I had to send it back to exchange it for the next size up. I filled in the form that had come with my order for returns and sent it off via Royal Mail next day delivery.

Now according to the track parcel service on the Royal Mail website my order is STILL progressing through their network. I posted it last Wednesday, it should have arrived by the Thursday. Now this is either an incorrect log entry or it is lost/being held somewhere. I belive the problem may lie in the address I was given by Soul Revolver on their form for returns.

I mailed it to:

20 Graham Street
Towcester
Northamptonshire
Nn12-7ab

When I search for this address on thr Royal Mail website it does not appear to exsist. There is however a:

20 Graham Hill Road
TOWCESTER
NN12 7AB

I have tried e-mailing Soul revolver to see if that have recieved my returned jacket but my e-mails are not getting through due to their servers being down (as you can see form the link above) for the past 2 weeks or so... (How long does it take to get a server back up? I would have thought they would be straight on it due to their entire bussiness being online based...). I get messages form LIVE mail server telling me my e-mail has been delayed and then later, a fail to send message.

So I then tried phoneing them but can't get through as of yet due to it being some automated system that asks me to press the pound symbol on my phone... I only have access to a mobile and so I can't do this. Oh and it's an 0800 number

I have no way of contacting them until they sort their bloody servers out which could take ages...

I have a receipt for Royal Mail and will pop in later to see if they can tell me if my package has been delivered or not. If it hasn't I will apply for a refund. The value of my package is £180 :o

Anyway OCUK, what I was hoping you guys could help me with is finding out if any of the above are valid address's for Soul Revolver. I have a nagging feeling I've been coned somehow...

Thanks.

dont worry about that my address isnt 'REAL' acording to royal mail

for example

226a madeup court
madeup street

is my real address as given by my landlord

acording to royal mail its

226a madeup street
madeup court

postman finds me from what my address should be RM suck tennis balls

As arknor said, the RM only need a house number and postcode and the rest is done by magic. ;) Why can't you press the 'pound' (American for hash) key because you're on a mobile? I do so every time I log into my phone banking and it works fine.

Oh and it's an 0800 number

I know it's not exactly the topic but if you want to make an 0800 call from your mobile and for it to come out of inclusive minutes, dial any of these numbers:

01237 200800
01229 330800
01228 250800

Then you'll be asked to dial your 0800 number. Hey presto, inclusive 0800 calls!

The "still in our network" message is normal.

I sold an ebay item recently and it took over 2 weeks to arrive and the whole time RM tracking said that message.

Ahhhh is that what it is. It said pound and I was like  If it's jhash then it's all good. Will try again.

So... The address I sent it to should be correct and Royal Mail should have no problem delivering it? I do hope so... Anxious to ge this sorted. It really sucks that Soul Revolver are taking so long to fix their servers. I would have thought they would be straight on it due to them being an onlien bussiness and thus not being able to trade. Losing money every day they are down i would have thought....

Thanks a lot guys ;)

That is strange. How long has it been down?

Give them a call. 0800 090 1970

Have done so bud. Got some American woman who could not help me due to the UK depot having not updated thier system yet. I asked about the website and she said it should be back up today. Hopefully their mail server will also be back up and I can sort this all out via e-mail. This is assuming that they have the package and Royal Mail haven't lost it...

Off-topic myself, but I wouldn't trust these. Never know what they're recording :)

I always use http://www.saynoto0870.com/ because as Clown says, you don't know what's happening .

However, they don't list one for your company so not much good :(

That's a good point but i've never had any problems, none that i'm yet aware of anyway :) I'll be careful not to give out any personal info now though.

I use that site a lot but not good for me on the move as i don't have internet on my phone yet. I use it less now that BT have decided to allow inclusive 0845 and 0870 numbers in their package.

Might even be able to record key press, for example credit card numbers and codes and stuff? It's not only about what you say!

I dont think that street exists, but there is a Graham Hill in Silverstone. However that isnt the correct postcode for it. lol, i grew up round the corner from that street.

01327 is the area code for Towcester/Silverstone.

Also, I didnt realise that its the new gaffs round the back of the Porsche garage off the A43.

why did you put the hyphen in the post code you sent it to? not sure if it would make a difference but seems like the sort of trivial details that would bring the royal mails systems to their knees

I wish I has never used Royal Mail. Soul Revolver finally got their servers back up (they suffered DDOS attack, ******* lame hacker type nerds) and said that they have not received the jacket... I will phone royal mail tomorrow and see what's what. I'm neve rusing them again. UPS/DHL ***!
