My antec 900 was an excellent case for cooling right out the box. Now that I have a corsair 800d, the cooling isn't quite as good... pretty much terrible compared to the antec 900!

I think I need to add a few fans to the exhaust on the 800d blowing out all the hot air.

Heres the temps I used to get in my antec 900 (old build).

Now the temps I am getting in my 800d case (new build).

So this PC is your gaming one?

Fit 3 x 120mm fans exhausting out of the roof.

Set the H50 rear fan as an intake.

Replace the lower 140mm intake fan with something with a little more power.

Yea, the corsair 800d case is my gaming pc build.

Would adding another apache fan to the radiator on the h50 in a push/pull set up make much of a difference?

Thanks for the input.

Adding another 120mm to the H50 would help, but make sure you have them both intaking air instead of exhausting.

Then fit 3 x 120mm to the roof to exhaust & replace the lower 140mm intake fan with something a bit better as the fitted fan is very weak.

The lower floor fan only supports a 140mm fan as far as i know.

I replaced mine with a 1500rpm sharkoon fan.

Is your H50 fan exhausting or intaking air?

How can you compare two different processors? With two different methods of cooling? Possibly at different times of the year too so ambient temperatures will be different too.

Just added 2 more fans to my case and its helped a lot with cooling. Added another Apache black to the h50 in a push/pull set up... Also added a fan to the exhaust sucking air out of the case.

If I was air cooling with this case one thing I would do is build a shroud between the bottom intake and the grill in the bottom of the case so that the fan gets as close to direct access to outside air as it can. You could make a duct by rolling up some card or plastic sheet. The main problem with this case would appear to be getting cold air into it in the first place.
