Need help guys - basic upgrades on pc needed rapidly

Hey guys, hope everybody is having a good day

Situation is, I want to play battlegrounds but my PC is giving me 40-45 FPS, sometimes even worse. Looking to invest around £500.00 in upgrades on Thursday and would love some advice please on what I should focus on, I've posted my specs below.

Monitors :

24" iiyama 60hz
ASUS VG278Q (27 inch) Full HD TN 144Hz LED

Processor:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3570k @ 3.40GH

Ram:
8GB

Harddrive:
Samsung SSD 840 Series ATA Device
Standard 1TB harddrive

Graphics card:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950


Real amateur when it comes to all this, any help would be massively appreciated

I would add an additional 8GB of RAM and a GTX 1070

Or just a GTX 1070Ti (About £490). Or up budget by small amount and get the 1070 TI and the memory - what Motherboad and RAM do you have now?

Hey David, I have 4 slots on the motherboard it's a ddr3 2800+ motherboard btw thanks for help guys, you're all ace for doing this.
