need help in buying more memory

Hello folks,

I got 1gb of geil value memory but as im doing heavy polygons 3d graphics i need more.

I was thinking of the 2gb set but! i dont want to waste my mobo.

Can i mix the 2gb with my 2x512 ? to get 3gb?

I know i've read countless threads about mix and matching but i dont want to waste the 1gb geil.

I wont be doing any overclocking as this x2 are more than enough!

Lets say a budget of £150
