Need help in Flight Simulator

Hi everyone. I have been looking at way too many screenshots about Flight Simulator and is ready to buy one now BUT i am not sure what i should buy as a starter? And also, is Saitek Cyborg EVO Joystick decent for the game? Any opinion would be much appreciated.

FSX is very user friendly and has some great training missions, i beleave the Cyborg evo is a good beginner stick

Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
eVGA 8800GTS 640MB
2GB CORSAIR RAM
ASUS P5W DH DELUXE

Also, do you think i should get any add-ons?

FSX for you my friend

That's Microsoft Flight Simulator X, just in case you didn't know!

only add-ons i would recommend are planes, such as military jets etc, and maybe scenery for airports that you frequently use!

any sites to reccomend buying the add-ons? I was interested in the A380 add ons

what do you think? Sorry, loads of questions but just want to get it all right to start flying

there is others as well, but i can't think at the moment

thank you sir. So do you think its worth the money to spend on A380 add-ons? Really wish to fly huge plane like boeing or airbus

well the game comes with planes such as the 747, 737, 757 i think, a330 also i think, the game comes with a with variety of planes to start with, check the site i linked to, it has pictured labeling all the fsx categories, it is a variably new version of the game, so the developers are only starting to release the extras

also you will want SP1, service pack 1, google fsx sp1, you should find the file

This game does my head in, I spend hours roaming around looking for the end of level bosses! Help!

Ok, i have bought FSX and the Joystick to start off with

Good to hear that there are so many boeings on it. Really excited to get on with it. Now , i will have to wait for a day or two for it to arrive. Is playing from Keyboard easy? or tough

After you install FSX download and install service pack 1 b4 you install any addons. You can get it from this site.

Thanks for all the replies! Been looking at the screenies for hours now :eek:

But my joystick will arrive on the 11th while my game will arrive on the 9th ): and from the above post by frost that keyboard is bad , i guess i would have a 2 day delay to get on with it!
