need help (liverpool)

I moved to liverpool from london 2 weeks ago and I can't find any computer hardware shops.. pc world sucks ballz. whould appreciate if u could give me any tips.

i have found most stuff is cheaper here than independent computer stores.
especially at the moment due to reduced customers in the recession, they need to bump up prices a little.

You'll find manufacturers and retailers increasing prices due to the exchange rates they are paying to import goods alone. Even with less demand some have to do it just to stay in business, can't absorb all the cost increases I guess.

Stuff is generally cheaper from ze interweb.

Though in Liverpool apart from the competitor you mentioned I honestly can't think of any myself. Unless you look in the Yellow Pages or something.

hell yeah, my local shops are a joke............. might be why they keep going bust all the time, it's so bad the one shop that's stayed open (lots of busness work) quoted me £93 for 1Gb of ddr :eek:

and that's not even the worse part is i was also quoted £437.90 for a gtx260 :eek:

needless to say i hung the phone up and sat there laughing my a$$ off

seriously tho ocuk are cheap and the service is second to none and if you need any help just log into the forums and one of us can help you out
