Need Help, looking for formal shirt, with extra long sleeves...

Basically im 27, 6 foot 8, and average build around 16 stone, but i have long arms and normal shirts aint long enough in the sleeve, i dont want to have have to resort to xxxxl and wear a tent just to get long sleeves.

Also i am fed up of crappy boring beige or just plain ugly shirts, i wear black suits quite a lot and am looking for some funky colored shirts and ties along the lines of the Ted Baker endurance lines with the bright pinks, purples and lime greens.

Unfortunatly google aint helping and i got a few weddings coming up...

Anyone else found any good webbys, shops or retailers with some nice bright funky shirts for poeple that are bigger than 5 foot nothing but in the same breath not obese?

made to measure, amazing quality and price

www.dress-for-success.com

they will do shirts to your measurements ( not suits ) , they have hundreds more materials than are shown on their site

I have about 6 or 7 shirts from them, £15-20 each and as good as ones I have paid £100 for over here

cheers for the reply mate, yea i was there on saturday along with any other place in glasgow that sold shirts was wandering around town all day.

slaters appear to have a range of 7 shirts with extra long sleaves, im the owner of 6 of them, tried the ayr branch as well.

im looking for something a little more exciting there fine for monday to friday but not a wedding or night out.

i tried thomas pink and tmlewin, pinkl showed promise but never delivered.

i have a 38/39 inch arm or whatever element it refers to and a 16.5" collar.

Try here ........ up to 38" long sleeves.

I have a mate who's 6' 10"" and gets all his shirts from there.

oh that looks a bit better, was in there on saturday too and they looked a bit dull but the ones on the webby look better.

Considering you are so near to Glasgow, my first port of call would be Slater menswear (their flagship store is in Glasgow). I used to work in one of their smaller stores and they stocked a load of decent xl sleeve shirts, so Glasgow should have plenty!

Slaters for the win. Their Leeds store is simply awesome. The shop assistants fight over who gets to help you out, they're all really helpful, and there's a huge variety of stuff. And they also have tailors to modify clothes, so you can get those extra long sleeves you want. :)

yes, they accept UK cheques too, of course you really need to order multiple shirts so that the carriage charges work out cheaper per shirt
