Hey, I am currently running a Shuttle SS21T with the following spec:

Intel P4 3.2ghz
1024mb DDR2 Ram
160gb Maxtor HD
Nvidia Geforce 7300 GPU, 512mb

I was looking to upgrade my GPU, when i discovered that my power supply was only 250W, and i was told this would not be enough to run anything above the 7300 i am using now. On top of this, i cannot upgrade my powersupply, because of the nanobtx form factor (I dont believe you can use conventional ATX PSUs). Can anyone see a way around this other than buying a whole new barebone??

Any help/advice would be appricated! Thanks :)

because its more money, and effort transferring things over. Also, i kinda like the one i have. The other thing is, most other barebones i see have tiny PSUs too, i dont understand how anyone uses them for gaming.

I don't know too much on the matter but i do know Shuttle PSUs are perfectly fine (350W or 400W) and if you look around, people are running Quad Cores, 2 HDDS, 8800 GTX etc..all on the Shuttle PSU. :)

Intel Core 2 Duo E2140 "LGA775 Conroe" 1.60GHz (800FSB) - Retail
Shuttle XPC SD30G2B Aluminium Barebones System
Corsair 1GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C5 TwinX (2x512MB)

Total : £259.58

You could not only future proof it but also transfer your HDD over, plus your GFX. :)

I'm sure there are cheaper ways and mine was just a quick example but it's to show you just how cheap you can get things for. :)

Shuttle psu's are of exceptionally high quality. My sb75 with a 250w had an x800xl, x800xt pe, x1950pro and currently a 7600gt without any issues at all. I think you will be fine to be honest.
