Need help - not got BT line

Apart from Bulldog ( who im with now ) are there any providers than will supply a telephone line. Onlyreason i ask is when i type my phone number into most sites checkers it says i dont have a BT line. This is correct - its bulldog.

BT wont install me aline as my ex had a line in her name and didnt pay the bill

The other alternative would be a Cable company then.

Possibly www.homecall.co.uk who provide both voice and broadband with no line fee to BT. Wether they would take on a line from Bullgod is unknown.
