so i finnished building my computer here is hard ware

Rampage 2 extreme

Intel core i7920

ati xfx 5770

patriot viper 12gb(6x2gb)

corsair 750w

coolermaster scout

corasir h50

so heree is my problem i fixed it up with a different cooler (COOLERMASTER V10) it worked fine for a while and then it suddenly shut off, and when i turn it on it shut off after 3 ming i googled it and , google said it could be cpu over heating, powersupply or ram, i though it was the cooler as (v10) was too big i bought the (H50) and today the same happened, btw the termal paste is on the h50 cooler :( and the comp aint gonna stay on long nough for a mem test

P:S: everything is uptodate the temp while idle were 27(degrees), and how do i test the ram if it turns off so quickly!

01. Get the caps off.
02. Remember you don't pay for support here so don't demand NOW!!!!
03. Reset the bios to default, update it, reset again.
04. Check the heatsink is properly on.
05. Try 1 stick only.
06. Run a memtest on each stick.
07. Take it all apart, find a non static area, build it outside of the case. check.

Too many caps makes me sad :(
What temperatures are you getting? Is it all running on stock?
To test the RAM, download memtest, and test each stick individually, by taking out the other 5 sticks.

Did you use Thermal paste & did you secure the heat sink properly ?
I would remove All the ram bar one stick & then try from there.

stop shouting,
you dont have 12 sticks of ram, you have 3 sticks of 2Gb ;) take each stick out and try booting with only one stick in the first slot, ( thats the slot nearest the cpu )

what happened with your cooler?
was it plugged in to the header plug on the mobo?
if a problem made the cooler die, then buying a new cooler wont sort it out, there must be an underlying problem.

WHAT DO I DO IF ITS THE RAM I GOT 12 STICKS HOW DO I CHEAK IT :( HEEELLLPPP!!!

P:S: IT TURNS OFF LIKE 3 MIN AFTER YOU TURN IT ON :(
Turn caps lock off mate :D.
If you think it's your ram? try testing one module at a time. Take your time and check all connections, maybe try a motherboard bios update?.

load up memtest, it comes with windows ;) it runs in dos, whilst booting up, take each stick out and leave 1 in the first slot, run memtest for each stick, repeat as necessary, 12 sticks of ram, you could be there a while indeed lol
