I have the first Aluminium MacBook that ever came out - the one with 2.0ghz CPU, 2gb ddr3 ram , 160gb hdd etc.
Now I am in the navy , and am being drafted to Plymouth for about a year and I want to upgrade it so I can put a shed load of games and films on it. Probably a 7200rpm one (as long as it don't have a massive drop on battery) and I think a 320gb sounds pretty good for an upgrade.
I also want to bump the ram up - I had a quick look on my iPhone (Internet is pretty much non existent here...
) and saw a 4gb ddr3 Kingston set that looked pretty good - was wondering if it would work with my MacBook?
I also want to put windows 7 on it - for the gaming mostly - I have the beta on there still , but want a full copy so I can get all the updates.
Now I havnt really got the time and stuff to look - and browsing on an iPhone takes years with this poor connection, so was wondering if you could help me pick out some good components - I've been out the loop with all the new stuff coming in for about 6 months now , so don't really know what to go for.
And few last questions , what time are ocuk open till on a weekday (so I can phone them)? Can I pay over the phone? And lastly , if I ordered today or tomorrow would I get my components for the weekend for when I go home and will be able to install everything?
