Hi, never built a pc before but i'm going to give it a try. Need a spec for around £650, don't mind going over if it's worth it.
I had ago myself but it was rubbish. I would like 120gb ssd and i also need an OS. I don't need a moniter, mouse or key bored.
Oh and it'll be used for internet browsing, word processing and gaming.
Thanks in advance

Saphire are known to have a poor RMA service so while it may be a good card if it has to go back to the manufacturer you could be waiting a while. Performance wise there prolly isnt much in it. I try to reccomend items where if something goes wrong it easy to deal with. As such the MSI have UK RMA not an EU or HK one.

ok i understand. Do you think it would be worth it going with an i5-3570K to give me that extra bit of power and over clocking ability as eventually i would like to try and over clock i think ocuk have got that on offer aswell

Its definetley worth going for an I5 as it will make the system last a few years longer. Its about an £100 extra if you include a decent cooler for overclocking.

I'm prepared to pay it if you think it will give a significant increase in performance, what cooler would you recommend?
Yes idleman i will probably need a small hdd for music and some movies but i may wait a couple of weeks to spread out the cost a little. As for dvd I thought the case came with one?

Just out of interest, do you have a PC at the moment.
If so can you post the specs, including make and model of Psu.
Any components that can be reused, will enable you to spend more in other areas.

No unfortunately, my old one that just broke was 8 years old and had a IDE hard drive haha, served me very well though!

Thanks. the 7850 doesn't have that much of a performance advantage over the 560 then...
If we are all agreed on idleman's spec i'll order tomorrow and i'll treat you to some pictures of the finished article next week

Look for ward to the pics. :D

Don`t forget to select ACHI in the Bios, before installing the OS on the ssd. And don`t connect your hdd, until after the installation.
If, when you connect your Gpu to the monitor and you get no display, don`t panic. All you need to do is download a Bios update(F18) and install using QFlash in the Bios. You can use a USB pendrive or your ssd..
Any problems just post and someone will be around to help.

kinda says it all about this years gpu's the 560ti selling ><
just looked at a review of the new 650ti, another lame card
