Need HELP on buying a new mouse!

I'm looking to buy a new mouse for gaming, and also maybe a new keyboard if i see a good cheap one.

The mouse will be used for a mix of fps and rpg games so extra buttons are good. Would like one that's wired.

price < £50

i have seen a couple on overclockers deals page but really have no experience of good ones so any ideas would be mucho appreciated

The amount of choice now is crazy so its not unexpected to be confused where your monies should go. I have assembled a little list.

Low budget - Logitech G400, Steelseries Ikari Optical, Steelseries Kinzu, Logitech G300

Medium budget - Steelseries Sensei Raw (my choice), Mionix Naos, Logitech G500, Steelseries Kana, Zowie range

Big budget after all its just a mouse - Corsair M60, Razer Deathadder, Steelseries Sensei Pro

Insane amount to spend on a mouse? No problem - Mionix Naos, Razer Taipan, Roccat Kone XTD

You will notice mice that cost more than £60 tend to be either gimmicky or wireless. The sweetspot is <= £60 imo for wired.

It is, but quite small. G500 would be my recommendation if you have larger hands, otherwise definitely get the G9x

I had the G9, I sadly didnt get on with the ergonomics although I really tried to get on with them because I really liked the precision and feature set of the thing.

razer naga hex......not good for big hands, but hell it is epic for medium hands trust me

Hate using wired mice, personally I would recommend the Logitech Performance MX
