Need help on Farcry 2 PC (spoiler)

At the part where I have just been to the gunshop for the first time, and I am now in Mike's bar. I need to speak to someone who has tablets (I think). I have tried talking to the 3 people in there with no luck.

Do I need to press a certain key to ask them questions or something?

er, you either press the use key...

Or, go to the town and get them from the chapal.

If you press escape do you not have a current objectives or anything?

I tried talking to the bloke sitting down. He says shouldn;t I break his tape player and thats it.
Walked round the room mashing the use key to see if anything is interactive.

oh rite...stand next to him....

If he has literally just slid the tape player over to you...stand where you where and don't move...he should carry on talking.

That, or reload and do it.
