Hi
I want to install 7x 120mm, RGB 5x 140mm 2x 80mm case fans, 3 HDD, 2 SSD, RGB lighting strips, GTX1080 TI,

Can I run all this on an Corsair RM850I PSU?

Thanks

Well it isn't as simple as looking at the total wattage available - you need to look at the available ampage. For example the fan below has a current draw of 0.18 amps

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £13.43
(includes shipping: £3.48)

LED strips draw in the milliAmperes range so have a negligible effect.

You PSU has either 25 amps or 40 amps depending on which rail you're looking at (12v or 5v) - either way you have plenty of amps available. Info on the PSU here: http://www.corsair.com/en-gb/rmi-series-rm850i-850-watt-80-plus-gold-certified-fully-modular-psu

So even considering the GPUs power draw you'll be fine.

Incidentally I'm running a 1080, 4 140mm case fans, 4 mech HDD, 2 SSD drives, 2 LED strips and an overclocked 7700K on a 650w supply

Thank again for the info, because I had to ask this question and I couldn't be sure it would work but now I will order all the parts I need.
