need help on new specs =)

need new gaming system build and benchmarked battlefield 3 on super high settings as a goal.
im sticking with amd and not going intel route.

i have looked around and found a few items in intrested in heres my options

processor : amd fx 4170 /amd fx 6300 or is there better i can get? / larger power less cores or more cores less mhz?

gpu : nvidia gtx680 / radeon 7970 what one is better to go for ?

mobo : unsure as i need to find what processor but its obviously gna be am3+

any help with this guys i already got myself a case , ram and **** so its just these left to buy.

ram - corsair vengance
hdd -500 sata 3 cant remember name
psu -ocz 750w non modular but has x4 pcie
have midi case cheapy with front mounted fan
no coolers atm but theres jus odds and sods i can pickup last minite

If gaming is your priority, then an i5 3570k is definitely the CPU to get as you have the budget for it.

cheers mate so basically intell is where i need to look ?
 
basically i want near to the best i can buy tbh the i5 is very affordable but its close to the limit im looking for for a cpu is it any better to look for an i7 ?

i hear what ur saying i jus want it to be good for future games too so itl not need upgrading for a while everything ran on high as **** too lol and if i7 is 250 quid, i mightt do it tbh, ill do i7 on 1155 what am i looking at at i7 ?
