the follow 2 cd's is just an example of some I want to put in itunes
the human league - the very best of
ministry of sound - electronic 80's
the human league I've sorted, not as easy as this has two discs and itunes does what ever it want's. I've turned off the organisation option as it deleted the order of the songs and file names in the finder before it ever entered itunes and then messed it about in there.
probably thinking what is the point of me talking about this, well here's the thing.
I want my music in alphabetical order my artist but itunes screws about with compilations.
Is there a way I can have the artist and the album grouped for a compilation without the overall artist a-z throwing the cd out of whack with the album name.
I think I can do this with album, artist and album artist showed and have the album artist picked but for example I have a beatles album called the beatles and it looks silly with the 3 tabs with the same name.
I have done this on the pc but for some reason when I tell itunes the selected songs are a part of a compilation it just ignores it.
since I removed the songs from itunes, deleted the songs off the mac and the mac decided itself to delete the songs of my memory stick I'm going to have to copy them back off my pc tomorrow.
I can not see why apple haven't made itunes more simple and basic. people might argue and say it is easy but compared to the folder set up and reading method windows media player and library uses, it's silly itunes has to import everything
