Hi,

So far I've tried just leaving everything on auto and changing the multi to 4.5, obviously it didn't like it :)

So i changed the vcore to manual and set it 1.2 as a starting point, ran prime for about 20 mins, did a full pass of 20, highest recorded temps were 56c.

But i noticed the vcore in hwmonitor and the ASUS software was showing 1.144, but then when it dropped to idle after to prime it went up to 1.2

Having seen this i figured i have some headroom so i set the multi at 46, ran a full 20 passes of prime, oddly the temps were the same and it also showed 1.144 for vcore. But when i stopped prime and then clicked exit on it the pc bsod.

I then changed the vcore back to offset mode instead of manual, left it on auto as i have no idea what to set it on. started up prime etc and notced it set the vcore at 1.304 and the temps ramped up to 66c while running prime. But the idle vcore was lower.

So what i'm wondering is what is the best mode to have the vcore on. Should i leave it on manual and accept it being 1.2 at idle (and increase it a little to mkae4.6 stable), or use offset but not on auto and see how it goes.

What kind of cpu cooler are u using?
Set vcore to 1.28 and then try your luck if its stable work your way down and find stable lowest vcore.
