OK, so I've got the MSi twin frozr ii gtx 580. I've been trying to find a stable clock for a couple of days now, running Heaven 11, OCCT 3.1.0, 3D mark11 and gameplay testing using BFBC2 and Crysis2.
I've pushed my card to the settings in my sig at 1075/1088 volts. OCCT reports no errors, Heaven goes the benchmark just fine, no artifacts/stuttering, same with 3D mark 11, but whenever I play one of the above mentioned games they will crash to blank screen. I can access the Task manager to shut down tho. I even tried dialing bk to 860/870 getting same results.
Did a 5/6 hour OCCT scan, no errors tried a couple hour long heaven stress test, nothing seems to be lighting up. I feel completely stumped. The card has just been RMA'd so I dont wanna send one bk again, as there seems to be nothing wrong with it.
**as a side note i can push the cClk on card to 890 on stock volts and not get any errors in OCCT.
I have been using the 285.27 drivers**
Any suggestions?
***added graphs below from 10 min OCCT run @ 900 stock voltage***
