Dude, not to be rude at all, in any way, but if overclocking won't sink in then I really would not try doing it yourself. It's just like climbing a tree: we can help you climb but when you want to come down and we're not there...?

If you run in to a problem when overclocking and - for some reason - your computer doesn't post or even turn on, how will you know what to do without posting on here? How will you know what caused to the problem and how to resolve it?

Trust me - overclocking is something you need to do yourself to do it properly. Hardware in this day and age has come a very long way to help the average joe/sharon overclocking his/her computer because of the multiple levels of safety built in to them, making it very difficult to break stuff outright. However, that doesn't mean that anybody should have a go, in my opinion.

ok dude no probs ill just have to try harder to understand the concept of overclocking .. i just need to set ram up and gfx card because i think they are under achieving their full potential.also i think my ram is set to 5-5-5-15 aswell i did set it to 4-4-4-12 in the bios and put the voltz up to 2.1 but i changed it back because i dident feel confident in what i had done just incase i missed somthing. thanx anyway for help.

p.s: mrthingyx no you wernt being rude what you said was constructive :)

Print off as much infomation as possible about your hardware especially motherboard details regarding overclocking, check compatability problems as well including ram voltage settings, cpu voltage etc. Dont be put off overclocking, everyones different not everything sticks in the head just like that - make lots of notes to look back on if your system doesnt boot up etc.
