Hi there im new to overclocking, really have little idea as to what to do, i have read the forums about it but still need a few pointers or examples of what i change, i thought if i tell everyone my pc specs and the timings and details from the bios, someone could give me a few straight forward examples on what i need to change. Ive been using Ocuk for quite some time to buy my hardware, thought it was about time i made the most of my system.
One thing i did know about overclocking is that you can only push so far with stock coolers, so i have ordered a new arctic cooler for both my Cpu and Gpu, which should be here in the next few days.
My pc specs that i think people may need to know are
Asus P5Q motherboard
Intel core duo Wolfdale E8400 @ 3 ghz socket 775
8 gig corsair dominator 1066mhz
8800 Gts 640mb Gpu
700 watt coolermaster psu
Vista 64 bit ultimate edition
I am going to upgrade my graphics card soon, but for now this does me, plays all games on max even though ive read it wont play gt4 and mirrors edge on max, it does easily. Maybe this is with me having 8 gig memory im not sure.
Ok this is the information from the bios that i know i need to alter, please any help or advice on what i change will be much appreciated, some of this info you will not need and i apologize for that, but as i say im new.

DRAM RAS# PRECHARGE 5 DRAM CLOCKS
DRAM RAS# ACTIVATE TO PREC 15DRAM CLOCKS

Cpu PLL voltage
