I bought one of the overlcocked bundled. I got a i7 930 asus p6x58d-e with 6gb of corsair ems3 3x2gb and corair h50. I also bought a psu that seems to be faulty(didnt know this at the time). So when i was powering it up for first time after build it wouldnt post. So i reset the bios by taking the jumpers out and the battery. After that it still wouldnt post so i put in an another psu I had( northQ 500w). it works but i dont obviously have the ocuk settings it came with. I was looking around in my bios lastnight and saw that u can save profiles and i saw that ocuk was there. I assume this is the settings for overclocking. So I tried booting up with these settings and it came up with "overclocking failed". Can someone help me get the ocuk settings running? Thanks

that most likely means that the cooler has moved or there isn't enough airflow to the radiator

my suggestion would be take the side panel off and see if it's stable then

if it isn't then it's likely that either your PSU can't handle the build or your cooler has moved

thanks for the quick reply. i think the cooler is mounted correctly there is no movement from the heatsync its pretty solid. id assum its because my psu is 500w then yes? its like 3/4 years old,

did you try taking the side panel off?

otherwise I have no idea other than it needs a bit more voltage or it isn't actually stable with those settings
