Need help :P

Hi guys,

I normally build full machines which i have no problem with however as I'm going to university in september I would like to build a shuttle for it.

My main two questions are primarily to do with the gfx card (however if you see other problems please do comment):

1) Will the supplied PSU provide sufficient power? I've heard things along the lines that Shuttle XPC PSUs will power gfx cards with higher wattage ratings than what they provide - this maybe wrong though.

2) Will the gfx card fit in the case? Have tried emailing shuttle, and looking for dimensions for the gfx card area but no luck.

Hey.

Have you considered building a SFF machine instead? They're not that much bigger than Shuttles, and come can take a full sized PSU, so you can just pick what you want.

They're also often cheaper than a Shuttle and offer good upgrade paths as you can replace bits rather than having to buy a whole new unit.

Well I was recommended the Silverstone Sugo however I don't know any good micro ATX boards, if you could recommend one then that would probably solve all my problems

I use one and I run my E8400 at 3.6GHz, and there's more room than that if I want it.
