My parents are getting my brother a new laptop for christmas since his desktop has stopped working and he's needing a new system.

Main thing I'm not too certain on is how good are the sandy bridge's integrated graphics? He isnt a big gamer but would like to play Might and Magic 6 and the odd RPG game? So would he be better getting a AMD fusion based system for dedicated graphics or an intel sandy bridge system?

Got a budget of about £400 from the parents to get him one, so anything you's could recommend would be brilliant.

Look on the Dell Outlet.

Should be able to get a low/low-mid dedicated graphics card in a laptop for about that price.

If not, look at refurbs possibly and try them out before you buy.

If he likes aesthetics then look into that too, as well as what he used to do on his pc;

Games
Movies, etc.

Is he in education? And what does he study, as the spec (depending on his studies) might be important.

Its going to be used for light gaming, once in a blue moon really and photoshop.

He's currently doing his AS levels at a local secondary school
