Hi
So I've just installed Antec Kuhler 620 onto my i7 3770k @ 4.4GHz v1.275, and I am looking for fans upgrade, at the moment I have noctua fan pushing and standard antec fan pulling both on 12V. I do find that solution to loud so ill need some help to pick best pwm fans for push pull. Let me know what you got
temps after 30 min of prime below, and what would you describe as safe 24/7 temps
Thanks
Pete

Those will be stupid loud at 100% so make sure that whatever you are using to control speeds can reduce them low enough.

Which Noctua and which Antec?
What are the stats?

Generally I find keeping the same fan on both sides works best with Push-Pull. If you have to mix, a faster fan on the Pull side can sometimes work, but never on the Push.

Me, I'm a Noctua fan fan, personally, but NB eLoops are very good, as are some of the Varders. Just trim the profile/curve to keep the noises in check.

Hi
Not sure which noctua it is, but antec = standard fan that came with cooler.
Stats what stats you mean ?, if temps see pic in 1st post

I use F4's and they are fine. You can also get ER variants which have a lower rpm threshold if noise is a problem.

The cooling efficiency is good though.

Noctuas often say which they are on the sticker behind the fan hub.
It'll be something like NF-12 or NF-P12.

Volume, airflow and/or static pressure values, mainly.
Static pressure is usually best for radiators.

I can only see 81CFM airflow quoted for the fan, which is much higher than any of the other fans on their website (none of which seem especially high on the StatPress side), but I'm going to hazard a guess that it's an 'unbranded' Antec fan, like the Corsair coolers, which do absolutely chuck but are similarly insanely loud...

Noctua make "redux" fans which are a bit cheaper now and pretty much the same apart from lack of little extrras if anyone isn't aware

TBH, all mine are the beige ones, but they just reflect whatever LED colour is nearest, so it's all good.

I only have one beige fan in my case atm, but I have two redux fans waiting to go in and a beige-fanned cooler. Ive got tracer ram with LEDs. All pretty irrelevent though cos I don't have a windowed case :D

So I got my two EK Vardar F4 in White today, temps 2-3 degrees down on all cores. Highest Ive seen them go is 1700rpm.
One more thing how come when you buy radiator fans they are supplied w/o rad screws but instead you get case screws...
And they do look lovely :)

Friend of mine got these same ones.
Highest we saw (while on a rad) was 1930rpm, while expecting closer to 2200 (+/- 10%, of course). Both run at different speeds too, despite being on the same channel.

Different rads require different screws.
Case screws are (usually) generic.

Lol, I never see them they're in the case/closet
Definitely in the closet, heh heh!!!

My 2 fans run on pwm splitter plugged to 4pin on mobo, so I think they run at same speed.
Now that I know how good AIO are I want something bigger like Antec 920.
Was thinking about Corsair h100i but when you run SLI, and the only place you can fir it is top of the case you will be cooling cpu with 75C air, unless you'll set the fans to pull cold air from top, but as we all should know hot air always go up.
Hm... do know... any suggestions ?
