As above guys!
built my boy a new pc as the start of the lock down and now he wants a better monitor for one of his Christmas prezzies.

I’ve looked and can’t decide on what to get him and really need to get one in case this new lockdown ruins shopping for us all in the next month!!
Looking to drop 250 to 300 max at a push so thought I would ask you guys
As I know you always come up with a good option.

His running a Ryzen 5 3600 and a gigabyte gta GeForce 1660 super, 16gb hyper x predator 3200mhz
Obviously being a kid his gaming on it hard lol
Im going to upgrade his gpu/cpu next year at some point, or could give him my rtx 2060 founders edition to tide him over,
don’t even really need it for what I use my pc for,
since buying it on release date I’ve used it for about 20ish hours of gaming..

You need to put a little more information in the thread. Current hardware, what type of usage, etc.

Some normal questions would be.

size
Refresh rate.
Panel type (can be dependant on conditions)
Resolution (can be dependant in system specs)
Usage

that sort of thing

should have thought out my post a little better but that’s what happens trying to multi task on ya day off with my kids off school

I actually bought a Msi optix g271 27” esports gaming monitor last night for next day (today)
Going to have a quick try when it rocks up and see if it’s any good on his rig.
Was only £225 with next day all in so if it’s good I’ve saved dropping an extra 100 on a monitor as my budget was 300.
If it ain’t no good will have to keep looking.
But yeah his fortnite and cod, gta.
And the Monitor he has is only 60hz Massive bottle neck in itself! (Bad DAD)
so upgrading will be a massive improvement either way
I built his pc at the beginning of lock down aswell!
