i really want it to be modular and SLI

yeah i was looking at that one, seems like a good PSU, anyone had any problems with it?

You cant really go on buying a PSU by the amount of problems people have had with a (Insert PSU name here). If a company sells thousands of a particular product theirs bound to be some faulty ones, its going to happen.

The Corsairs are solid PSUs, their no question about it. Go for a Corsair Power Supply.

good point i will probably go for that one. thanks

Go for the Corsair HX 520W, it's the best value for money modular PSU out there. As for case its really up to you as there aren't really any "terrible" cases, I would recommend my Lian-Li PC-7 as it's very easy to work with and looks good.
