Hey all,

I'm trying to help a friend with a problem but as I'm an android guy I have no idea if what needs to be done can actually be done,
so I'm turning to you guys, the Apple experts :D

So basically, at one time in the past he bought a few older used iPads to give to older friends to be able to keep in touch with each other etc...
and at the time it was quicker for him to use his own, already created Apple account login to get them up and running.

But now, each of these iPads are receiving his personal messages, emails etc... which we need to stop, so what is the solution?

Can it be adjusted on each of the iPads? Is there a setting to stop them receiving all his info (can this be done remotely)? Or do we need to setup a fresh account with each iPad?

Any help would be gratefully received :)

Thanks.

They would stop getting his personal emails and messages. That should be all he’s concerned with.

His friends can create Apple accounts and then login if they need to use Apple services.

The devices won’t be remotely wiped, but he could do that if he wanted whilst they are logged in and in his account.

So that would stop them getting his messages and they wouldn't be affected apart from the next time they need something that requires Apple services it would prompt them to sign up to an Apple account.

We don't want them losing all their stuff, just the access to his being revoked.

No worries buddy. Sorry if I was “short” earlier, was in the middle of something so was trying to answer quickly.
Nah that's ok, didn't think that.

As I'm not an Apple guy I just want to make sure I'm not going to wipe everyone's iPad and they lose everything, it'll be my head on the block otherwise
