need help please

hi I've just bought a new system and i'm having some problems.

DFI LanParty UT NF4 SLI-D
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+
Corsair 2GB DDR XMS4000PT TwinX (2x1GB) CAS3
Gainward BLISS GeForce 7800 GT "Goes Like Hell" 512MB GDDR3
Tagan TG530-U15 530W ATX2.01 Easycon SLi Compliant Modular Silent PSU

my problem is that whan I start the system up all i get is a beep coming from the speaker and the system won't post.

According to the manual the beeps indicate that it is a problem with the memory.
Does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong and how to resolve it.

This is the first time I have built my own system so don't really know what to do any help would be appreciated.

have you got any other memory just to try ? or if you have 2 sticks just try 1 stick in all slots to see what happens?

I dont have any other memory and I tryed just one stick but got the same results.

just got hold of some more ram and it still won't work.

Looks like a screwed up MB.
anyone had the same problem with this board?
