Reinstalled Win XP last night since I can't use Coretemp/ATI tool in Vista.Ever since then I've been getting random reboots and BSOD when ever I try to load Coretemp:mad:
The only thing I've done that might have caused this is take out 2 of the 4 ram modules to see what my Q6600 can do.

I've tryed all sorts:(
Is it possible its just a bad install of windows?

a bad install is possible i had it when i first built *** machine im on now i resinstalled again but changed the order in wich i installed my drivers and seemed to work was wierd

Hi
Is it the latest version or coretemp? as a old version reset my XP with my overclocked duo2

have you tried more then one version of coretemp/ati tools? and if the cpu is overclocked have you tried testign for stabliliy, if it is put it back into stock then try coretemp of ati tools to see if its a bad overclock causign a BSOD and also try with the other 2 RAM modules in or one at a time or run memtest to see if RAM is faulty.

also define "all sorts"

My Q6600 primed fine @ 3.6GHz but I ran it out stock just incase.
I've just started running memtest which has 2 error so far @ 18%:(
Will try my other 2 sticks off ram after the test.
Ram is Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300C3(x4)
