Need help removing adware without going into safemode.

Hey guys,

So i managed to get some adware and i cant access CMD to remove it. I also cannot get into safe mode because i am currently using a laptop which has got a cracked screen and im using it via a vga cable connected to my monitor. I have tried booting safe mode but nothing is coming up on my monitor and decided to come on the cracked screen instead.

Any tips?

There should be a function key combination that toggles between the onboard and external displays.

Can you remove the hard drive and put it in another machine/USB caddy?

This is my preferred way of dealing with virii anyway.

I've successfully cleaned a machine without going into Safe Mode using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. Just install, update & then run Full Scan

As above, use the function keys on the keyboard to switch to the external screen.
