Hope someone can help, trying to get thru to ocuk helpline is a nightmare, by the time i get home from work, the lines are closed
got the Krypton Intel Core i7 930 2.8ghx @ 4.00ghz o`clocked,
on my new build had a problem with psu, RMA`d it, OC tested it, said it was fine, on its return, i managed to get it started, but on first boot-up i get `overclocking failed` message.
Finally got an email reply today, with the instructions, "In Bios, go tools menu > enter asus OC Profile and load OCUK Profile > press f10 to save and exit",
ok , found the profile, and managed to get a small window up with the profiles 1-8 listed, managed to choose profile1 - which i think is the OCUK one, press enter and notice `restoring profile 1 is ok` press f10 to save and exit, -- i`m assuming i`m doing this right? boot up, system is just the same... listed as 2.80ghz.
can someone walk me thru this please before i mess something up? - beacuse at this point in time, it doesnt seem to be loading the OCUK profile.
any help greatly appreciated.
