hi,

already done a search, my problem is i can't find the profile file that everyone refers too.

set it to check for hidden files etc but still no show.

gfx card is a powercolor 4870 512mb, drivers are 9.3.

cheers

Just go to CCC then at the bottom should have "ATI Overdrive", unlock it and then you can manualy set it.

You have to create a profile first
use profiles manager and enter a name in top box, eg normal, than click save
then come out and go into my computer
c:\
users
"name"
Appdata
Local
ATI
ACE
profiles
then right click the profile and select edit, then set the fan speeds you want

NB each time you restart windows you have to use CCC and activate the profile, it doesnt hold over when windows restarts

already unlocked ati overdrive but can't see any fan option.

95th:

dont have a users folder on the C:\, can't find Appdata either.

I was assuming youre using vista? is it just xp?

apologies im using xp :(

EDIT:

Not a problem any more thanks for the advice, trying to look it up i came across ati tool which i've managed to figure out and get working.

cheers
