I reinstalled Windows XP about a week ago and I need help sorting my User Accounts out.

At the Windows login screen, the only user account that I can login to is "Administrator".
But if you look at the screenshot below, I have another User Account which is not visable on the Windows login screen.

I would really like to delete the User Account named "Administrator" and use the Dell User Account - how do I do this?
They both have admin access.
Why can't I see the Dell user account at the login screen?

Go to Start and Run, type: control userpasswords2 and click OK.
You can set which accounts are enabled/disabled.
But you can't delete the Administrator account.

Cheers. I just deleted the Dell07 account and renamed the Administrator account.
P.S) What is ASPNET? Can I delete it?

Its required for some web applications to run. IIRC its the web equivilent of the .Net Framework.

It's a Windows component (or certainly is on a server OS) so yes you can remove it through Add/Remove programs, then Add/Remove Windows Components, highlight Application Server, click Details and untick ASP.NET. Click OK, then Finish.
That might vary if you're not on Windows 2003 (which I imagine is the case).

Might stop some programs working if you have any that rely on it though.

Thanks.

I now have another problem.

After changing the user account, I logged off and back on, but my wireless network was disconnected.
It said "Found new wireless network, click here to connect". So I went through all the setup process, but it doesn't seem to be working. I put in all the settings, WEP password, etc. Click connect, and it just goes back to the connection screen again and does nothing...
Any idea's why this is happening?

I disabled the Intel PROset wireless that was having trouble connecting and switched to Windows Wireless and it connected fine - not sure what happeneds to the Intel software, I will try again later.
