Hey guys n gals.

My sys spec is as follows:

Pentium M @ 2400mhz (160x15)
Asus P4C Deluxe-E
1GB DC MEM
160GB Samsung SpinPoint IDE HDD
Antec Sonata with 380W PSU

I've ordered another GB of MEM and an asus 3650 HD Radion to replace my dead x800pro.

what I also did in a bit of haste whilst browsing the famous auction site was order another Pentium M chip... one that will clock far better (mine is a 400fsb model and i found a 533fsb model)

now i was just thinking about things logically... i dont play many games anymore and myself and the mrs will be returning to study soon and i was thinking about getting a P4C (northwood chip) from somewhere to replace this.

anythoughts on this?

my reasons for wanting to change is that i think it will be better at standard non gaming tasks and defo a lot better for video processing.

also i have a a raid setup in my other p4 rig which is at my mums currently.

its set up so that the boot drive is not on the raid card... how easy will it be to transfer the raid card and the 4 hdds to my current rig without messing things up and how easy would it be to install windows on the faster drives?

many thanks in advance :D
