Looking for 2gb of ram mate, I don't mind with a slower gpu card

really want the best combo cpu/ram once my student loan comes i'll see if I can buy a better card.

I have a raptor 74gb do I need to install the raid drivers when installing XP Pro at the start screen pressing F6?

You only need RAID drivers if you have 2 WD raptors....otherwise just treat it as a standard drive in which I mean just install win xp like you would any other drive...

Its a SATA drive so will be installed as a SATA you don't need to worry about RAID or setting it up in a diff way...

P.S. what res do you game at? anything above 1280 x 1024 will require a 512mb card....Also if you are not going to be overclocking you can get the GEIL 2gb Value RAM instead - you may be able to get yourself a X2 chip then?
