I have a Dell 9150 from 2006. I have just upgraded to windows 7 and need to find a graphics card that will match my PSU (375w) and has windows 7 drivers available. I have googled this for a few hours and didn't seem to find much info as it seems to be a bit old a dinosaur of a PC.
I would like to be able to play Call of Duty United Offensive (quake 3 engine) at full specs as I have a 1080p widescreen monitor. I have a Radeon x600 256mb at the moment but this is not an option for windows 7. I hope to find one that will play the game at 2048 x 1536 as the x600 only plays the game at 1280 x 1024. I also understand there will be limitations due to bottleneck issues and this will limit my choices and that is where I am coming unstuck with google but driver issues are a problem also.
I would really appreciate maybe two suggestions as I will have to try and find a second hand one on Ebay as funds are very limited. Thank you for your time.

I think you will struggle because I believe the Dell 9150 has a Pentium P4 CPU so even playing at 1080p it might chug unless you dial down the settings.

You could chuck in there something like a nvidia 750ti or nvidia 950 which the PSU should handle as they are both low power usage assuming your Dell 9150 is the tower one. Might have to remove any internal cowling to get it in there.

Although you are approaching somewhat of flogging a dead horse.

If you don't go with a new PC you can get the 750ti and 950 without additional power requirements . EVGA do the 750ti SC that requires no leads and Asus now have a leadless 950 although I think that will cost quite a bit more. If I needed a graphics card for a prebuilt PC I had always planned on the 750ti mentioned but a few years ago I was using a 5770/6770 for the same reasons and it did a decent job and I bet you could find one secondhand that's cheap as chips as a stop gap item if need be.
2048 x 1536! That's an odd resolution.

OK, thanks for all your time. Looks like its time to get a newer PC, thank you for trying to help me.

probably best look for a 2nd hand pc with better specs, see if you can find a Intel Q6600 CPU based PC or something like a Q9xxx CPU based PC if money is tight. Would be a decent boost. Failing that a cheap i3 PC. Should be plenty on the bay.
