need help to monitor total GB used per month

hey lads any handy wee tools i can run to check this?

ive been having trouble with entanet and they deny anything is wrong but to me i think using 6gb when ur in bed on a non wireless setup is wrong :/


12am-8am 12th nov used 6gb

i also have things like

06:56:26 500.75 MB 5 GB
07:06:17 504.67 MB 5.49 GB

considering enta have been traffic shaping and i aint downloaded anything i find that disturbing at best.i found out they re wrote the code last week for the usage and i think its been screwed ever since infsct i think its been screwed this last 2 months!

how the bleep can i use 500mb in 5 mins LOL

the most ive used is iplayer hd,youtube.so i need a handy tool thats really easy to work i want to basically hit a button when i connect to the net and have it total al the gb used until i stop it.


help is most appreciated folks

i can download a gig in 2 mins 20 secs so its possible, but tahts virgin 50mb

is your network secure? somebody may be leaching your connection.

got any apps running that maybe you have forgot about? p2p, steam auto updating etc etc

umm about my network being secure i duno ive one port opened for torrents and just use the routers firewall, no windows firewall or anything.

i dont have wireless and some usage is at like 4am when the pc would have been shut down and only the router would be on so is it poss they culd take around 500mb in 10 mins?

thats another thing my max is 7.1 around 850k i duno if i could even download 500mb in 10 mins on that
