Hi all,

I've got a Asus P4C800-E delux board and a Coolermaster case capable of 2x80mm fans up front, 1 x 80mm rear and 1 x 80mm blow-hole. I want to replace the current fans with either Arctic Cooler 8 PWM's or AF8025 PWM's but I need some advise because their website is not very clear.

First of all, the only difference I can see between the two fans is that the AF8025 is slightly thinner but noiser and less efficient than the 8. Correct?

Second, how do the cables attach? Do they connect in serial with the first fan in the chain connecting to a free fan plug on the mobo (I think the P4C has 2 or 3) and then the others daisy-chain?

If I'm correct, I guess the biggest problem is in making sure the cables are all long enough to be neatly hidden. Whats the best way to extend them if I need to in order to neaten the runs up?

Cheers.
Matt

**EDIT** The mobo has three fan connectors - one up front, one CPU and one at the rear. If I could split the rear fan power into two to power the blow-hole as well, would I be best using these instead of the 'intelligent' Arctics ?
