Need Help Troubleshooting Setup

and am having the following problem

Initially I thought it was a problem with the MB so I sent it back and got a replacement. Plugged it in and the same problem is happening. The screen is shifted to the right as you can see in the pics.

Whats more confusing is that it works fine with an LCD monitor but when I plug it into a TV set it gives me the issues.

Any advice?

My guess is its either to do with the cable or the connecting ends and nothing to do with the hardware itself.

The same setup works with an LCD monitor.

Right so Ive just plugged it into a newer TV upstairs and the setup works. Its therefore my TV.
