you cant directly compare different generations of processors, they use entirely different architectures. Thats a bit like saying an i7 @ 2.66 is same as a PIV @ 2.66
agreed ideally, but if youd read earlier posts youd see his mobo cant take more RAM and psu wont cope with better gfx, going to have to do it in stages
If you cant stretch the extra 50 then Id say go for mobo/cpu and reuse old ram
Get this, it should run fine on your current psu, as it takes all the power it needs off the pci-e slot. Will be a massive boost over your current video card, and then add a 4gb kit of ram when you have a bit more available cash.
