Need help urgently

Turned my PC off last night to goto bed and now this morning it wont turn on properly.

Everything has power, HDDs are going fans are spinning and lights are shining. Im not getting any beep from the BIOS but I have reset it, still no luck.

Any ideas please, really cant be doing with forking out for a new PC at this moment in time.

Do you have any spare parts to test? Does it sound like the bootup sequence is being followed or is there no display on screen?

no display signal or memtest beep

After a bit of investigation it appears that one stick of ram is iffy. Ive tested each stick on its own and in both slots and 1 seems more tempermental than the other. Doesn't work full stop with both in, so looks like ill have to run system on 512 for now.

Its on an ASUS A8N SLi mobo and im currently running corsair xms platinum ram, so not sure if I should buy 2 x 1gb for now or wait til new PC is done in a few months.
