Need help using a downloaded database on FM2011....

I've bought FM2011 today and the first thing I noticed was how out of date the player database was!! :eek:

Anyway, I've downloaded a user made update but I cant for the life of me get the game to recognise it when I start a new game!

I followed the instructions and put the .dbc file in c\documents\sports interactive\editor 2011 but cant see an option to select the new database when I start a game! :confused:

Also, for some reason, there are 2 "Sports Interactive" folders in my documents folder!?!?!

I realise its probably something really stupidly simple that I'm doing wrong - can somepne please point me in the right direction??

You do know it is for last season right?

It will have the January transfers up to date

All I'm looking for is people like Torres & Caroll at Chelsea & Liverpool respectively!

That is done in the January update. Download the latest patch and it will include all of the signings made in Jan 2011. I guess you bought it retail?

It will not be up to date for this season though.

I rarely play it nowadays actually, but I can't wait for the next game. I don't want to start as Brighton in League 1 in the Withdean and without Buckley and Mackail-Smith

As said, the patch updates players from the Jan2011 transfer window, I'm on it as we speak and Torres is at chelsea, Caroll at Liverpool etc
